Save Our Allies
About Save Our Allies

Save Our Allies was formed in 2021 in direct response to the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan by Chad Robichaux, Sarah Verardo, Nick Palmisciano, and Tim Kennedy to provide precision extraction from hostile environments, lifesaving battlefield medicine, and the swift resettlement of vulnerable populations fleeing tyranny and terror. Save Our Allies is a nonprofit non-government organization founded by three special operations veterans, and the wife/caregiver of one of America’s most severely wounded heroes. The motto of the organization is from Isaiah 6:8, “Here I am Lord, Send Me”.

Beginning with a hashtag and a desire to save Chad's interpreter, Aziz, Sarah and Chad worked to organize and mobilize volunteers, planes, and government agencies in an

effort that would later become "Save Our Allies." The volunteer ground team was quickly formed, comprising of experienced and highly trained veterans. Due to the generosity of the UAE, a JOC (Joint Operating Center) was established in the Officers

Club training facility as an active command center for SOA.

With a command center in place and Government approved manifests in hand, the SOA ground team members connected in Kabul. In an unprecedented coming together of individuals, government officials, and allied countries, Save Our Allies began to evacuate thousands of people out of Afghanistan, and would continue to do so until the planes were grounded, leading Save Our Allies to find alternate routes out of

Afghanistan in order to continue the mission.

As planeloads of allies arrived in the US, Save Our Allies rapidly coordinated the resettlement programs put in place. The American people answered the call with over 300 volunteering with SOA to ensure our resettled allies were provided for. SOA shipped over 30,000lbs in aid just for our US based allies and taught hundreds of lessons in English, Geography, and culture.

While Save Our Allies was still actively dedicated to the Afghanistan mission, they also had a presence in Ukraine and surrounding countries conducting surveys weeks before Russia’s unprovoked invasion into the region.

Save Our Allies quickly assessed that an invasion was imminent and rapidly established a Humanitarian Assistance infrastructure enabling larger entities to resource the area of operation, and allowing SOA to manage successful precision humanitarian aid operations in the event of war.

The multi-national 24/7 command center consisted of partnered NGOs, Churches & Government personnel. With the proviso that all parties deposit information into a secure infrastructure this created shared data for overall situational awareness and collaboration. In addition to unparalleled ground truth situational awareness, SOA aimed to provide security awareness, threat vulnerability assessments, coordination and

response through the SOA provided trackers and communications packages given to participants.

Save Our Allies established an on call 12 person multi-national Tier 1 special operations team for SOA operations in and out of Ukraine with tactical vehicles, safe-houses and local law enforcement coordination and military deconfliction for all SOA operations in addition to a 100 person Ukrainian HA force and 25 local national volunteer medical workers.

Due to SOA's highly experienced and uniquely skilled team, and SOA owned all-terrain medical evacuation vehicles, they were instrumental in the extraction and emergency medical treatment of two American journalists working on the front lines, one of them being Benjamin Hall of Fox News.

Save Our Allies remains actively dedicated and committed to the plight of our allies still in imminent danger or threatened with oppression in Afghanistan and continues to sustain a leadership role of the Command Center in Ukraine. Save Our Allies maintains its mission statement to rescue and aid Americans and Allies in war-torn environments and resettle them in environments free of tyranny and terror.
